I was rescued by Karma Rescue in Long Beach in 2016 with two bad knees that required surgery. My soon-to-be pawrents were volunteers for Karma and quickly fell in love with me, and so did their other rescue pup, Django. I might be a senior citizen now, but I still like to have a good time and cause all sorts of trouble at home.

I have been on many trips with my mom and sister's and been in the various reading with kids programs since 2015. I love listening to all the stories and spending time with all the kids.

My Name: Pip
My Pet Parent's Name: Madalyn
My Rescue Adoption Story:
I was very sick and running in the middle of a busy street. A man driving in a car noticed me, stopped his car, got out of his car and stopped traffic. Then he scooped me up and took me home to his family. I had no collar, tags or microchip. They tried very hard to find where I came from, because someone might have been looking for me, but no one ever came forward. In the meantime, they took me to the vet and after a couple of surgeries and some medication I felt so much better! Now I live with the man who found me, and his family is my family too!

My Name: Tim
My Foster Mom's name: Pamela
My Rescue Story:
I'm still discovering where my journey will lead, but my rescue story began when the only family I had ever known left me at the South Los Angeles Shelter at 11 years old. With just four days to find a new home before facing euthanasia, my future seemed uncertain—until the incredible Sal at Balooja's Foundation saw something special in me. They rescued me, provided the medical care I needed, and gave me a second chance at life. I am currently in foster and available for adoption, but I am so special I am worming my way into my foster mom's heart...
