OUR MISSION Reading to the Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving children's literacy through reading sessions with rescue dogs. In a safe, judgment-free space, children build confidence, fluency, and a love for reading while also learning about animal rescue.

RTTR visits libraries across Los Angeles each month with dogs that have been carefully evaluated through our rigorous temperament screening. Together, we share a love of reading and animal welfare with children of all ages. 

RTTR would love to visit your classroom with our specially selected rescue dogs to share stories, inspire a love of reading, and teach children how to care for animals in our community 

Angel’s Fund was created to provide lifesaving medical care for shelter animals at risk. Today it also helps vulnerable pets, strays and community animals get the care they need.
